Teeth Whitening

  • I have a crown on my anterior or front teeth. Will your product whiten my crown?

No, but it can brighten up old dental work that have accumulated stains over the years. We cannot whiten any dental work beyond the original color that the dentist put in, but we can restore it to its original color.

  • How many times do I need to come back?

We recommend 3 treatments to prevent Relapse and increase your overall shade. Keep in mind that if your teeth are higher up on the shade guide you may need only use the whitening pen for maintenance. Relapse is when your teeth color reverts back to its original color. Not everyone will relapse & it’s hard to know who will relapse & who won’t. It depends on genetics, but we find that relapse is rare after 3 sessions and/or use of whitening after the client’s session. The average client will return once every 6-12 months for a follow-up, but results can last up to 2 years.

Botox

  • Is it safe? If BOTOX® is a toxin, how is it safe?

BOTOX® has safely treated a variety of conditions for more than 10 years and is FDA-approved as BOTOX® for temporary improvement of frown lines in adult patients ages 18 to 65.

BOTOX® generally remains only in the treated muscle and gradually disappears without breaking down. BOTOX® usually lasts around 4 months. After it wears off, the lines will gradually revert to the pre-treatment appearance.

  • Can anyone administer BOTOX®?

Though any authorized healthcare professional can administer BOTOX®, the person doing so should be thoroughly trained and fully understand the procedure and complications. The concentration of BOTOX® can be very different (and, therefore, the results can be very different) depending on the administrator. This in turn affects the cost and the treatment itself. Generally, plastic surgeons, physicians, dermatologists, ophthalmologists or other aesthetic specialty physicians are more experienced in the administrations of BOTOX®.

  • Is the procedure time consuming?

BOTOX® is one of the easiest and fastest cosmetic procedures available. The injections take between 10 and 15 minutes and the procedure can easily be scheduled during your lunch break. There is virtually no recovery time needed, except for occasional bruises that can easily be covered by makeup.

The ideal candidate for this procedure does not have much excess skin and his wrinkles are primarily caused by contractions of the muscle rather than sun damage. Those who are facially expressive when they talk are likely to benefit from BOTOX® . This is because smiling, frowning and raising your eyebrows all cause the facial muscles to contract, which eventually leads to wrinkles. BOTOX® works by relaxing these muscles causing them to soften or in some cases completely disappear. BOTOX® can be used to soften crow’s feet, frown lines, eyebrow creases and lines on the lower face. It does not change your facial features and the overall effect of BOTOX® is a relaxed, more energized look.
